XR Cleaner is a French brand selling beauty products (blackhead vacuum cleaner and electric cleaning brush). The site would be edited by a Chinese company Shenzhen Ereiter Electronic & Technology Co, . Ltd. This company is actually specialized in the sale of electronic cigarettes and all the accessories that come with them. Thus, we are already far from beauty accessories.
This brand has been promoted by many influencers on social networks. For reasons of image rights, we cannot publish their photos, however, you should know that most of them come from a show whose name is taken from a city where the Velodrome Stadium is located.
To begin with, we warn you, there is a lot of negative feedback about this brand, as you can see in these tweets. Orders never delivered, price variations, many things go against the French consumer law that XrCleaner must comply with.
The brand is therefore in an illegal situation. The use of a so-called « barred » price is also prohibited, we are not in a sales period, and there is no legal justification for this price drop. Except for the desire to directly influence the consumer’s purchasing behaviour, which is of course prohibited. Indeed, the seller must be able to justify why there is a drop in price in all cases where there is one. Moreover, these price reduction operations must remain marginal compared to so-called ‘normal’ sales periods, which is not the case for XRCleaner, which shows a reduction throughout the year.
XR Cleaner does not stop there and uses counterfeit reviews.
For the sake of accuracy, it is legal to use reviews from other sites/platforms to put them on its product page. However, there is an obligation to cite the source of these reviews.
Here this is obviously not the case, and the worst thing is that this brand uses the image of a young woman, here called Gwenaël, in order to prove the efficiency of their product.
However, we find the exact same photos on the website of the « Clinique Mozart », a beauty institution that uses these photos in an article dedicated to laser acne treatment. In other words, we are a long way from a simple blackhead vacuum cleaner.
By using these images fraudulently, XR Cleaner estimates that their product, worth €8 on AliExpress, would have the same effect on acne (and not just blackheads) as a laser treatment costing €200 to €600 per session.
For an electronic product, there are several standards (UL, FCC, FDA, CE, RoHS certifications) to be met in order for it to be validated and marketed in Europe. The product must therefore be tested, before being sold here, especially as it is in direct contact with the skin and face, which can make it potentially dangerous. Obviously, the XRCleaner product has never passed these tests., otherwise it would be indicated on the site, the product page and on the instructions for use. So saying that there is « 99% less impurity » is not scientifically proven and constitutes misleading advertising, which is reprehensible by law.
To conclude, we advise you to avoid buying products on XR Cleaner. We are already not sure to receive your order, and if you receive it, you will have in your hands a product that does not meet the standards, and is not necessarily effective.
We therefore recommend, if you have blackheads problems among other things, to use natural treatments. Scrubs, lavender hydrolats, different natural oils to cleanse your skin, there are many solutions to treat your skin in the best possible way, and in a natural way.
Take care of yourself, stay at home.
